Anyone know much about them?

Heard a bit of them on Later last night and they sounded pretty good, plus they came 3rd in the critics sound of 2008 poll.

Yeah saw them also..... there are a two issues though
1. The drummer is a minger
2. The lead singer has bad hair.

However i liked them a fair bit....gonna try and catch them on tour methinks....

downloaded a tune by them a while back. Not bad.

New album is out in September, think I'll give it a go.

ESM tickets to see 'em are a tenner, boy just got us a pair for academy 3 on september 17th. Tickets still available. Albums out September 8th. Having listened to a few tracks, looking forward to seeing em live.

I was referring to the 'wigged' comment, nothing else. I am fully aware of CLoudy's music knowledge. My ipod knows it too.

I might see 'em. I really like the Geraldine track, been meaning to check them out a bit more. The only thing that puts me off is that NME have decided to start tossing off over them, so they're gonna get a plastic fan base until NME get bored of 'em, as usual

I thought they were ok as a band I just thought that the overall sound had been done before a little bit.

They were going down well with the crowd though.

Anyone see the ITV 2 show about Latitude t'other night? Rubbish programme but some decent footage of the bands especially Elbow.

The more I listen to the Neon Neon album the more I love it. The fact that its Super Furries on a casio keyboard probably helps, but that's beside the point.
