Anyone heard these? Fantastic albums not amazing live but well worth watching.

I used to listen to Idlewild when I was about 16.. They were a mental live act too! :-)

Have a listen to Captain or Hope is Important.. bit more up-beat than their 'recent' (I've never listened to anything after 100 Broken Windows.) stuff.

Oddly, you're the second person I've heard (seen?) mention them this week.

They turned out some great albums early on in their career. I think there are many bands out there now that have certainly taken their influence into their music.....only problem is they are nowhere near as good. Saw them in 2004 at Leeds Met Uni and they ripped the roof off the place.....
