Best value Architect in Belper is http://www.abds.biz/. I was quoted £2500 for some simple plans to be drawn up for my house extention but http://www.abds.biz/ did the exact same job for £800, which included the cost of the planning application. So if you're looking for an Architect in Belper then I would really reccommend this company.

I am unlikely ever to want to build anything in Belper, although the pies sound interesting.

Pupils take walk on wild side with work at Alton Manor

Published on Tuesday 24 July 2012 14:58

Pupils from Belper School have been helping Derbyshire Wildlife Trust look after a Belper wildlife site.

The pupils, aged 13 to 16, have been working at Alton Manor Local Wildlife Site near the school.

They have been carrying out the work, with funding from Western Power Distribution, to gain a John Muir Award.

Jill Leheup, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust’s People Engagement Officer, said: “The project has been a great experience for the pupils and they really seem to have enjoyed it.

“They have been able to discover a local wildlife habitat and learn what fun it can be to look after it. Local residents have been coming up to us while we’ve been working to tell the youngsters how much they appreciate their efforts. We’re really grateful to Western Power for supporting this work.”

belper 9 up, 14 down

The little bit of chewing gum you find attached to the underside of tables and chairs.

I slid my hand under the table and found a belper. It was still moist!
