yeah, but I think you value being good at the internet (in your view saying nasty things to strangers) far too much. It doesn't really help you acheive anything, and in fact the time spent honing your skills as an internet warrior probably would've been better spent doing something else.

It was more of a scattergun approach to comedy. Bastard, in a humorous deceit, wrote a description of actions in the first person, giving the impression that the statement was about him. However, he was (to the knowledge of some on here) probably mimicking the actions of someone else on here. I didn't know who, but thought I was bound to offend someone if I fiddled with it, so went for it. :approve:

Wasn't me was it? I don't remember drinking Guinness

2nd degree tbf.

Got any tips for returning to uni, Pads? I'm about to embark on my second uni career, too and am hoping it will be drastically more successful than the last time

Do you still get a student grant?

No, though you'd had a few by the time I got there if I remember rightly?! In that bar next to Jabez??

That was about 7/8 years ago, you know? *harps begin to play and a mist gently rolls in...*

should do. what are you doing?

apply for everything is my advice, you can get a mature student bursary from the uni itself which is about 500 quid a term, and then the hardship funds can be anything up to an extra grand a term. you'll qualify for most what with the kids and that.

pm what you're doing and where you're going and i'll have a little look for you this week.

edit - oh and anything else?

You can get a council tax reduction can't you? That's the main on eI'll be going for

As for bursaries and that, I'm doing it through work and getting paid a salary while I go so more just after stuff I can mooch like the council tax stuff

students don't have to pay council tax at all. you'll need to request the letter from the uni and take it to the tax office, but it's a piece of piss.
