Revival. Stephen King.

It's a bit odd. Took ages to get started, but not bad.

I read a book called the psychopath test by Jon Ronson (same guy who wrote the men who stare at goats). Really entertaining read and insightful on how crazy the entirety of the mental health industry is.

Currently re-reading "American Brutus".

It's a cracking read about John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln Assassination

Something to do with an Erroll Brown joke I think

Just finished The Grapes of Wrath - close to a 10/10 if ever there was one.

Currently reading the Lies of Locke Lamorra using the Kindle app on my phone. It's a gamechanger!

In true philistine fashion I have never read The Grapes, I should do. My reading has dropped away of late, although I love it. It has gone to seemingly only binge reading on holidays, poolside, as I sweat out a hangover in between dips in the pool.

Last book I started and was enjoying was The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett, very good so far. Must pick it up again.

I also had a hankering to read Fear and Loathing in LV, which I have never gotten too. One of my fave authors Cormack McCarthy described it as "a classic of our time" and one of the few, great modern novels which is enough for me.

The Grapes of Wrath is one of my favourite books. East of Eden is another great one from Steinbeck.

Just started commuting by train so have started listening to audiobooks. Just finished Skagboys and Trainspotting. Irvine Welsh is one disturbed cookie. So dark it makes you laugh at some very bad stuff.
