Whether you're reading a book or the same story on Kindle, you're getting the same story. Why does it make a difference what format you read it on?

Because it's nice turning pages instead of pressing a button?

Well worth following that up with this, for a modern day perspective on the Congo river:

Just finished The Burning Soul by John Connolly..
If you like his stuff you'll enjoy this - less of the supernatural in this one which for me was a bonus..
Currently reading Screwtop Thompson by Magnus Mills (short stories)
Good as you'd expect

and

We Need to Talk about Kevin - I'll give it another couple of chapters, but I'm not enjoying it at the moment,

Need to get something decent for me holidays, a comedy perhaps - any recommendations?

finally finished this, started sometime around end of May. starts in china, ends in china. funny little story right at the beginning though - during the nomohan incident, where japanese and russian forces clashed in mongolia, a korean conscripted into the japanese army was captured. he was eventually drafted into the red army, and fought against the german onslaught, where he was again captured, and conscripted as a Hilfswillige ("hiwi" or volunteer helper) in the werhmacht... and was then captured again in normandy by the americans. lucky or really fucking unfortunate? i think, and this is going back several months, that he eventually emigrated to america.

really enjoying this

I really enjoyed 'Life of Pi'. A real take you on a journey book.

It could be a satire of this forum in some respects. :TopHat1 :banana-rock:
