They were all fantastic fights kimbo. I watched them live as well (the sort of fights that stay with you forever). They ended tragically for sure. The referee hasn't an easy job I know but when he looks back I believe he'll feel he stopped it too soon.

All i have to say is that i see groves in a new light..
He should have had a few moments more..

All these pundits had groves winning everything..i had a little closer..but i think groves was losing his grip a little in the fight and froch was starting to get to him, but groves deserved the benefit of doubt..

A rematch would be better for froch, as he knows what he would have to deal with, but i see groves only getting better...

pacman later, who is bullshit...he should man up take the test and fight and lose to money...

i guess its time for cricket chaps, and maybe a quick anger wank..

spot on cod..
I dont think froch will want a instant rematch, and does want ward..he aint got many scraps left and will want massive ones.
I dont think the ref bailed froch out, he is right, if he gets a free shot, he could ruin groves..and left a few moments longer he may have done just that.

For what its worth..i think groves vs ward on that display would be awesome..
he will be a world champ..

kessler or de gale, then see how the land lays..

And not that it would have been, but i saw spencer oliver get doen live, i saw mike watson get done live..and maybe the greatest fight ive ever watched live nige benn and gerald mcclellan...

great post mate.

Maybe after he stops Froch, a rematch with DeGale for a title could be on the cards. That would be some spectacle. British boxing looking the strongest that it has in a while.

I actually think Groves got a little bit sloppy towards the end. Almost a bit too confident, and he paid. That can be blamed on inexperience though, and he will learn from it, and go on to be a great world champ. A scrap with Ward down the line would be big, but I think I'd prefer to see him fight Golovkin. That would be mental. Or maybe Froch-Golovkin? Nah, Golovkin would retire him.

I think DeGale will be a good champ too, as much of an ass as he is. He would stop Froch. And I thought he beat Groves two years ago, so he's got skills.

Pacquiao is putting on a masterclass display here. Rios looks limited, but Manny's speed is back, and his footwork is incredible.

Maybe the Mayweather fight would still be huge. I'd pay to watch it, that's for sure. If Manny can keep this up for the full 12 rounds, then I'll be calling for the Mayweather bout once again. Definitely.

A controlled Pacquiao. Rios was hand-picked I reckon, but still an impressive win. He dominated every single round, and I'm so happy for him, as well as impressed. Lets get the Money fight on. It's still got appeal, especially after that. Manny's still got it!

Mike Tyson has done some stupid shit. That is not in question, although I do still believe he never rapt that chick. And that Robin Given was a conniving little cunt, anyways.

All that said, he was proper 'citing as a boxer. You could visibly see opponents after 4 or 5 hits start to shit themselves, they'd had a few bops and knew what he had in his hands. As Cus D'Amato his trainer famously once said 'He hits people with bad intentions'.

Utter agreement from me on all said..
When he won the title from trev berbick. (The last man to beat ali and never in the same universe as ali)
Trev thought tyson was some punk kid and disregarded him as a pretender.
The pre fight stare...trev all of a sudden looks into the eyes of a destroying machine and his arse falls out completely..
He trys to look past tyson like hes not there. ..pure bottle job.
then few rounds later..youngest HW champ ever..
Loved iron mike in his prime. .

Just watched a very impressive kell brook.
been out awhile since the leg stabbing, but pretty much waded through the number 1 contender.

Hes a yorkshire man, but i really do like this lad.
And he called out khan..said 'come on amir, get in here with me, i know your delicate around the whiskers but come on lets do it'....not verbatim but pretty much as is, and funny...

would be a massive domestic world title fight at wembley, and big earner..
but i would love to see brook, put a snoozing on khan't...

Not so sure how big of an earner it would be for khan as opposed to other fights he's hoping to get and probably too big of a risk as he would have no chance of getting them if he lost to brook.

Decent show on right now, kell brook card..

kevin mitchell is having a great fight against a 3 weight champ here..
don't know a lot about the guy, hes proper decent, hes been dropped by mitchell, but come back pretty well..
but he's boxing a good fight kevin and must be ahead, and this is like how a good fight should be, after the pac/mayweather shite...

hope this lad wins..
and i like brook, he's so much more likable than khan, and id love to see him wreck amir khan't...

also the great heavyweight hope, ant joshua to come soon...

not bad for once

Joshua looks a freak. Up there with the fastest I've ever seen of a man that size. A genuine athlete. Generates some serious power because of it.

Haven't seen the Mitchell, Selby and Brook fights yet. Torrent for tomorrow.
