Has to be recreational, surely he can't be dumb enough to be taking performance enhancing drugs(If he was they weren't working). Almost unheard of for the B sample to return a different result either. At least Lescott seems to be finding form at just the right time anyway.

RT @martynziegler: Re Toure drugs test failure - 'specified substance' means ephedrine etc and various others contained in cold cures etc

Well that's surely accidental. Whether it would save him from a ban I'm not sure.Maybe just a ticking off.

No. They seem not be too sympathetic to athletes in cases like this although this part would give you some hope!

The World Anti-Doping Agency define a specified substance as one that is "more susceptible to a credible, non-doping explanation".

The Wada punishment for such a positive test ranges from a warning to a two-year ban.

The Good Shake has enough spare cash to buy him out of trouble.

Well that isn't too bad then just a month, Well enough time for us to get knocked out of the FA cup, Europa league and loose our Champs league spot  I'd drop Yaya back into the centre back role becasue imo Lescott and/or Boateng just cannot be trusted.
