The royals just don't seem too, don't know why tbh.

We work the longest hours with the least public holidays in Europe, so I don't begrudge another as a one off. Anyway, as it's a bank holiday businesses can still choose to open if they want too.

This. Come on Tommy - let's have a bit of patriotic spirit on here eh? Bad enough with all the crims and micks around.

We could open but none of the staff would turn in.

I will however take the opportunity to enjoy my long weekend.

P.S. I bet you LOVE that she's from Leeds. You Yorkies all stick together doncha!

She isn't, but the local media are using every angle possible to make out she's a Yorkshire lass.

Last night Look North, (Yorkshire), basically said that the Ark Royal is from Leeds as we gave it a plaque.

She is from Yorkshire.

Where else would you get someone to flash the Royal flange?

In 1969 they claimed that because Neil Armstrong's great grandma x3 was from Yorkshire, then a Yorkshireman was the first man on the moon.

Does anyone really want to watch this shit?

I was in hospital when Andrew married that inbred ginger idiot. The nurses asked the men on the ward if they minded if they borrowed the TV for the nurses office.

We insisted they take it.

Answered your own question there, Slart.

My mate watched the funeral of Diana with his four year old niece.

"Oh look!" she exclaimed when they removed the body from the cathedral. "They are putting her in the boot of the car!"

IMO only two good things have come out of the North West, Vimto and City, and I sometimes have doubts about the latter tbh.

If Platini was in charge of Eurovision they would be allowed to compete next year.
