Anyone see the Thompson v MacDonald fight last weekend? What promised to be a barnstormer turned into a bit of an anti-climax. Cagey as fuck for the first three rounds and didn't get going till the fourth.

Poor old Rory looked like he got his nose fucked-up again.

yep, felt bad for rory, hes better than that.
he needs to rebuild himself a little.
he had 2 wars, and the lawler one was brutal, fight of the year, and one of the best ever..

wonderboy will take the title from robbie me thinks..

Jojo calderwood was ace to watch.

200, was a little underwhelming..
And i thought it would be.
cain looked quite impressive.
as did aldo, but edgar really looked slow and predictable.
bork lesnar took out a top 10 HW after 5 years away from the game, with a bit of a old school, ground and pound session. but that was quite a feat.
tate was wiped out with ease.

night before was great, JJ vs claudia .couple of rounds of her trying to wrestle fuck her, then JJ lit her up with some awesome combo's and pin point striking..

decent enough show i suppose..

Jon Jones has a lot to answer for. Unless you're a grappling connoisseur, which I am certainly not, the DC Silva fight was pretty turgid.

Ive not been impressed with any of the grapping lately..
Bjj gets cancelled out by wrestling and vice versa.
I get excited for the ruskies tbh.. the eagle can proper grapple.
And i cant wait for him to fight..

I don't mind a bit of grappling if something's going on, but in all the times I've watched DC he seems to spend half the fight pressing his man up against the cage holding onto his wrists and not doing much else, except maybe moving his head about a bit.

Watched the prelims last night. Some big names on there - would've done for the main card on any other night!
