Anyone watched TUF 23 first episode?

I'm halfway through watching it now - the second, third and fourth fights were mental - I highly recommend watching it.

yeah i watched it t'other day..
197 was ok.
one absolute stand out was Yair Rodríguez, brilliant performance..

This kid has some skills, sick knockout :TopHat2

Main event was crap. Co main was better, Mighty Mouse looks unbeatable, but I guess they all do till somebody beats them.

Wasn't it just! There's a lot of comment that Cormier would have beaten that Jon Jones. I think they may be right.

While he was commenting Cormier said he regretting he got injured because he would've whipped Jones, and Mike Goldberg totally called him on it and said "wouldn't you want to beat the best version of Jones?", and he had to climb down massively :)

Would've been a better fight for sure, OSP threw nothing in the last 3 rounds.

Yeah i heard that,lol.
But i really think he would have.
More still if he had fought rumble, he may well have been looking at the lights..
also a on form bones, i think got beat by gus, i had that 3 to 2 in gus's favour but it really was a close match, but he would have leathered bones on that form..

I really like Eck Gus. He's had some serious fights and been better than just competitive, losing by splits to Cormier and Jones. Cant wait to see him again.

Anderson Silva out of U198. Not sure if they have a step in?

Some good jitz fights up here, Demian Maia (shrine). Jacare (shrine). Mind you I am jitz subjective. Have you seen Jacare's record? 22 from 27. Wow. He'll ave to warn it against Vitor.

You all remember Uriah Hall from TUF? He has yet to live up to the hype but he could be anything still yet.

hall did a right number on gegard moose..but against silva i dunno.
but if hes out then i doubt anyone will step up for him..

and yep maia and jacare are incredible.
But i have to shout up for damian's last victim in gunnar nelson, he took on albert tumenov last sunday and dominated him.
looked really slick.
and looks to have really bounced back from the maia loss..
no shame in that though..

card this weekend is stacked

Just started working my way through the Metamoris catalogue. Outstanding. 1 x 20 min round, only way to win is by submission. Yes there are often stalemates but the grappling is first class. And the match-ups are like fantasy match-ups. Excellent.

I just heard Hall has been pulled from the card - not surprised they couldn't find a stand-in. Remember that fight when he broke his toe in the second round I think, fucking thing was hanging off and he still fought on.

Maia's fight with Nelson, Bill Burr said Maia's nick should be 'clingfilm' even if it's not that intimidating.

with this latest banning of journo Ariel halwani, I ma reminded of how much I despise Dana White and the now circus like UFC. Not that halwani was any good, quite the opposite, he was a cock but if he latched on to a breaking story that Lesnar is going to fight at UFC200 why shouldn't he spill it?

Fucking dana white. basically the spokesperson for a standover mob.

Danny. They lifted the ban Monday..
A short lived little paddy by Dana.
And your.right..
If they can get Lesnar on the card at this moment
Why not conor and nate.

I watched rogans podcast. And he was talking about the Ariel situation .
Dana is a ego maniac at times.

Anyone see the Thompson v MacDonald fight last weekend? What promised to be a barnstormer turned into a bit of an anti-climax. Cagey as fuck for the first three rounds and didn't get going till the fourth.

Poor old Rory looked like he got his nose fucked-up again.
