Yep, seen it - nasty. Can he ever fight again?

I must say I'm not that impressed with MVP - seems to be selective with the opponents he faces - Santos had already lost 18 times before this fight.

connie vs nate diaz part 2 tonight..

can't look past diaz after he owned Mcgruber last time out..
but if he does beat nick, then we really do have to give him respect..

pure heat in the build up to this..

Glad I googled this as the sight of his caved-in skull is probably the only thing horrific enough to dislodge the mental image of bastard bending one up a muscular woman in her forties (fifties min) from of my head.

Will be bouncing out of bed tomorrow in the hope and expectation that Connor gets throttled again.

Definitely fair result - fucking epic battle - up there with Lawler v McDonald. The crowd for both sides was roaring. Fucking epic.

Prolly fair, dropped him a good few times. Had the 3rd round gone on for another 20 seconds Diaz could've finished him. Absolute war, number 3 will be a bit special.

100 percent right.
Except 1 had it a draw..i think he gave nate the 3rd as a 10/8 round.
Which really. You should give conor the 1st as a10/8.
He battered nate straight for 9 minutes.
Nate had a flurry at the end of rhe 2nd. Too little too late. And had been dropped twice.
The fact he is so tough saved him.
Came on.strong in the 3rd and won it big. But no 10/8 just 10/9 on that.
Mcgruber rallied in the 4th and won that. Diaz won the 5th probs.
Great fight and great heart from both.
Folks having a go at conor for back tracking. Or running.away.as they call it. Thats bollocks. Could say the same for nates wall and stall.
It was a great fight.
Conor was 169 at the weigh in. I bet diaz was 180 plus on the night.

On another note...rumble should be banned.for punching too hard.
Fuck me he would ko a elephant.

Good.night.of fights..

Agree with all points on mystic mac...That judge that scored it a draw :? A lot of sour grapes from other UFC fighters saying they scored it different. Think he will take the Alvarez fight next..the cut to 145 for the aldo fight isn't worth it. Beat alvarez for belt then defend vs nate in the multi trillion kazillion dollar trilogy conclusion..

Rumble Is insane...Knocking out cormier is a different story though and think the fight will go the same way as the first one.

That cowboy finish was a thing of beauty..That 170 division is smoking at the minute..Condits probably finished now but even without him the talent at 170 are beyond sick. Hope maia doesn't win the belt..insanely skilled but can see him just lying on top of people for a year or two. Boring to watch when so much stand up talent in the division.

Love maia. Ive done a bit of bjj in a previous life. And he is the best mma bjj fighter there is..
Gutted about carlos as im a big fan. But if he quits. He gets my thanks and respects.
Agree about conor at 155. But that is a shark pit. And the eagle is hovering above it all..
I expect a hw champ soon in ubereem next show

Finally watched that today, fucking belter of a fight. Fair play to both of them. Can only see the rematch going one way though.

Staggering he thought he would be competitive in UFC/MMA.

I instantly dismissed him as a cock given his former profession but he actually seems a decent bloke in interviews.

that was legalised rape.

faber is shot.
overeem is chinny as fuck.

as for cm punk, he's a smart guy, he needs to know he just can't fight at these guys level.
he got stretched good and proper.

This is probably the most surprising thing from the card. He's looking at trick of losses now. Whoda thought?

I've been watching a lot of Erik Paulson vids on YT lately. His more recent submission grappling vids may bore some people but he is a bona fide pioneer of MMA. Black belt in at least 4 arts, but his grappling (and coaching) is, quite possibly, as good as it gets. J Barnett and B Lesnar trust him with their coaching. I'd go as far to call him the Oracle of Grappling.

Thought the main event was ace, no way that one was going the distance! Had never heard of CM Punk before due to WWE being gay, but found it quite entertaining once I'd heard the back story.

Drew Dober was really impressive in the prelims, so accurate with his striking.

Dana White apparently tweeted a hint that the Eagle is finally getting his shot vs Alvarez.

McGregor vs Alvarez confirmed for UFC205.
Aldo's gonna be pissed.

Wonderboy vs Woodley on the same card for the welterweight belt.
