I thought the first episode was a bit slow but I think it is a grower. Second episode was really good.

I think if you take the "..86" one on it's own merits then it's not bad. The first one in the series was pretty dire, but Tuesdays was funny. I was pissing myself.

I think you should try to keep the film and the series separate, because apart from the characters being the same, then nothing else holds the two together.

When the series started i imagined all possibilities, for example the rise of the the National front etc, etc in the 80's. I half imagined before the series that this would have been one of the main topics to hinge the series around, but so far it's just been about them all shagging.

This is England '86 Part 3 was very depressing.

I've heard of "feel good movies" but this is a "feel shit (tv) movie".

This is England 86 has been a let down compared to the film

X-Factor. Never really followed this before. I might take it up this season.

My favourite is Cher.

Haven't seen her. Even with all the repeats I've missed her appearances on the show. Is she any good?

She does have a great voice, but obiously not your typical 'pop' star.
But then that Boyle woman wasn't either and she's earning a few bob now apparently.
The judges like Mary so it seems she'll get through to the live shows.

She the coke addled whore?

Thoroughly enjoying the return of in betweeners and true blood atm. Can tell summer's over - telly has gotten good.

No, the coke whore is another one. Terrible the way the tabloids have been chasing this young around.

Are you sure she's a drug addled whore? She doesn't look the type.
