I started watching Doctor Who when capaldi took over, never ever been a big fan but i've just decided to start watching it from Ecclestons Doctor.

Didn't know Billie Piper was in it.

What's with the fucking BBC and it's Munich circle jerk at the minute? We've had a fucking Fergie documentary despite him refusing to be interviewed by them for fucking years, then some Rooney shite now we've got something about the "Class of 92" cunts

Glad I don't pay my licence fee :approve:

The BBC is utter shit.

During half time in the footy last night I had a quick look at some new cop "drama" that started last night.
Two minutes told me all I needed to know - Casualty set in the police. Fucking dismal.

Hardly surprising with that spunk monkey Yentob in charge.

Just finished Narcos. Excellent. Latina titas everywhere :TopHat1

Not sure what to cue up next. Might start House of Cards, but I'm aware that's a bit of a mammoth undertaking. Any pointers Forum?

Not sure if you have access to these:

Ray Donovan: Liev Schreiber as a fixer/gangster. Jon Voight is brilliant as his despicable father.

Homeland: Claire Danes as a CIA agent fighting terrorism.

I gave up on Homelands during the second series, it was starting to irritate me.

Based on the above I'm not sure if I should value your opinion on Ray Donovan, which i haven't seen.

True detectives (first series) was fantastic and so was Fargo. I liked the first series of Leftovers as well.

The second series of True detectives was a bit 'meh' but Fargo is decent so far.

Yeh I like Fargo as well. I am enjoying Homelands too, seemingly not up to the irritating bit yet.

I think in the last about 10 years there's been a real void of zombie TV shows and films. Zombie shows are sooo good. I have particular fondness for people who have car stickers that read 'Secretly we all want the zombie apocalypse.', or who similar on FB.

I can understand that. Let's face it, after Sopranos, Six Feet Under and Breaking Bad, everything else pales in comparison.

Six feet under is my personal all time favourite and I can't see it being bettered; both for the role it played at that time of my life in helping me deal with my dad's death and its intrinsic incredible qualities.

The first series of true detective is probably the most I've enjoyed any TV show since then.

I presume you have watched the walking dead and game of thrones because pretty much everyone has - both are good IMO

House of cards was great for the first 2 series, haven't got stuck into the 3rd yet.

True detective - 1st series was great, I haven't watched the second - it is good but not as good by all accounts.

Don't forget the Comedy Channel (MUTV) and the History Channel (LiverpoolTV).

Nice

FWIW I think Homeland stuttered in series three but came good again in series four as a straight-forward CIA thriller rather than all about Brody and is he a terrorist or not

I am all set to finish Sons of Anarchy this afternoon which has been enjoyable for the most part. Mafia with motorbikes
