Finished watching Sons of Anarchy. Really great show, hoping it doesn't get cut.

Just bought all of The Wire - Possibly the greatest show ever? Will be the third time of watching it all again

Deadwood - Slow in parts but it has Ian Mcshane and who doesn't like gritty westerns?

The Shield - Surprisingly good.

"On the surface, The Wire is generically a cop drama, focusing on the attempts of a dedicated team of specialists to take down a drug kingpin. If that were simply the case, The Wire would stand as the best cop show ever made. However, it is so much more than that. The Wire is a dissection of a modern North American city, cutting through the socio-economic strata, depicting the lives of kids selling drugs on the corner, the bureaucratic management of police and their target-driven policies, the politicians attempting to balance what should be done against what needs to be done, school kids trying to walk a fine line betwixt education and the temptations of the corner and the drug barons organising their empire."

Pretty much sums it up. It's from HBO has a couple of British actors, it's not the type of american drama that you would associate with Lost but you can't help feel yourself getting involved in some of the characters.

Good call, don't go out of my way to watch it though. Mythbusters is good too but often drags on - more myths, less bollocks please.

Courtney Cox looks withered, she's clearly had work done. That's not a very good program btw.

30 Rock is efffing funny, maybe my fave comedy alongside Family Guy right now. Curb your enthuse is also great.

Courtney uses every available opportunity to run around in her skimpies. She looks good for a 50 year old.

Cougar Town is ok. It kills 25 minutes after a day at work.

i take that back. it's not fucking good. it's a wonderful piece of television. I've only watched half an episode and i'm now going to systematically go through them.

not felt like that about a tv show before, the wire, sopranos et al took a little while to get into. i had instant empathy with both characters as the whole thing was a duologue. amazing.
