does anyone have an idea about the city cardiff? i sort of got an acceptance for a summer internship at cardiff university. i need to know cost of living, life and other stuff that you may add. help needed!!

Apparently there's a rift in time and space that runs right through it. It's true cos they said so on the BBC. Aliens come and go.

Actually I know nothing about the place but it appears to be a fairly vibrant up and coming place. On the down side, it's in Wales.

Couldn't tell you much about the nightlife but it's a good city.

My grandma lives there. Say hi from me if you bump into her. Then say sorry for bumping into her.

I lived there for about 18 months and really enjoyed it. Would have no idea about the cost of living these days. Studenty areas were Roath, Cathays and some others whose name escapes me. When you have an idea of where you are looking upmystreet.co.uk can give you more details about prices to expect, type of area etc. Also, googling student accomodation should be useful. Great city though imo. MY lab was on the roof in the old building of the chemistry dept. If you're going anywhere near the chemistry bit I still have some contacts there...
