Not sure about the broth/soup thing. I thought the term 'broth' was just a regional name for soup.

Isn't broth a thin soup made with water, meat/veg or bones, essentially a stock? Soup is made with a stock as a base and thickened with other things.

But say you remove the bones and blend it, the veg being a natural thickening agent...is it then a soup??

Is a broth, lazy soup?
