Why is it nonsense. Having said that, it should have remained about the amateur game. That's what I meant about the ethos changing. Amateur football tennis etc is good. Why shouldn't those that do it for the love not for the money get a shot at glory. Unfortunately the IOC has taken that away from them by allowing professionals to compete. That's bollox in my mind.

It's overloaded as it is. Plus there are proper top tournaments for these sport in the first place.
