I really couldn't give a fuck. All Wimbledon does is fuck up the TV schedule.

Tennis is just one of those sports that are far better played than watched on the box.

That said, I'd rather have Tennis on TV 24/7 than the fucking Olympics.

Why oh why has Wimbledon been mentioned on here? It's pap. Tennis in general that is. Played by those much better off that many of the idiots queueing to get in, who in reality get excited about tennis once a year when Wimbledon is about to start.
What a waste of time.

And as for the Olympics, thank goodness that is every 4 years, but even that is too regular.

The Olympics have their place as a grand spectacle. They've lost a lot of what they used to stand for but even so, it's a nice distraction from the usual shit on tv like the 'I wanna be a celeb please I'd do anything including make myself out to be a psycho,' programs. Spending half your life striving to be at the top of your sport (no matter how obscure the sport is) is a damn site more worthy than becoming a Big Brother contestant.

Can't really be doing with Wimbledon but again, it's comparative.

Well it started yesterday, and Federer won, but today see's the start for Andy Murray and Anne Keothavong... Start of our dissapointment I think. Most papers have Nadal as favourite, but does anyone actually think he can beat Federer???
