A fucking harrowing watch, but a brilliant film. :TopHat1 Casey Affleck is superb here. 9.5/10

Image
Hmm. Meh. Felt a bit safe and middle aged. Not really any edge to it. Overdid the sentimentality. I'd hoped for more tbh. 7/10

Image
Much better than expected. Pretty good in fact. Only an hour and a half long too. 7.5/10

Image
Interesting. Hats of to Snowden - that was an unbelievably brave thing he did. A handy reminder that people in power will lie like fuck and behave atrociously to protect their position.

Image
Outstanding. another 9.5/10. Only realised at the end that's it's directed by Tom McCarthy of Win Win and The Station Agent fame. That lad really knows how to make a film.

I watched the film Big last night, and the ending is something that has really grated with me, i swear blind when i was younger i seen an ending to this were the woman wished herself to be a kid and the film ends with Josh in a class room and a new girl arrives, and it's Susan.

I had to look up this as i've never ever seen it since.

"During test screenings, an additional scene was included at the end, in which Josh is back at school, and a new girl named Susan arrives. The implication is that Susan used the same machine to make herself young to grow up with Josh. Due to audience feedback, this scene was cut, and so the movie ends when Josh goes back home."

How is it i have actually seen this but it was never actually released???

anyone remember this at all???

Only just got around to watching blade runner..
I had swerved it as I thought it may taint the original and it's a cult classic and right up there in my fave film list.

Entering with low expectations I can honestly say it was 10/10.
I have a new fancy 4k box and.it looked amazing some of the scenes were beautiful .
The story was even better . Phillip k dick would be proud I'm sure.
It only added and improved the original .
And it was acted well too..
The gos.aint half bad to be fair.
And that chick bastard posted back when

Well geeeezus she's fit..

Instant classic..

The director, Damian Chazelle of Whiplash and La La Land fame, is only 33.

Just watched the darkest hour with Gary Oldman..

Would I be wrong if I said he is possibly the greatest British actor ever..

I was watching it and had to remind myself it was actually Gary Oldman...

A strong 8/10 for me.
And 10/10 for Oldman..

If you like musicals, as I do, then you'll find it fabulous.
