That's the one. Been meaning to work my way through his oeuvre for a while.

To broaden my mind I need to learn Italian.
To that end I have been watching some films by Tinto Brass

Good fun this. Didn't completely understand it, but I'll give it a 7.5/10.

The Danish Girl. Horrible. My girlfy said to me at one point, 'what's wrong, you look horrified?'. It is actually horrific. 1/10.

The Hateful Eight. Had so much promise, I spent the entire film willing it to turn the corner and get good. It didn't. With a stellar cast like that, it could have been awesome. 4/10.

JJL was great in her part, and that dude walton goggins is also pretty dam good.
the rest were going through the motions for me..

walton goggins, hes just made for westerns..
i like the dude and will keep a eye open for what he's doing..liked him in predators too, when he jumped on the back of one and started stabbing the shit out of it and called it a space faggot...brilliant..

Enjoyed this. Same director as Take Shelter/Mud/Shotgun Stories. I love his American middle of nowhere schtick. 8/10 :TopHat1

I'll be watching that, love his films and Shannon.

Don't much care for sci-fi but I'll try and persevere. And if it sucks I'll blame Bastard.

What was the film bastard said was turd? Image didnt work.

That Hacksaw Ridge does look alright, shame its got religion at the heart of it but anyways.

I watched a good part of 'Siege of Jadotville' which is a pretty decent war/action film, I did enjoy it but feel asleep just before the end due to inebriation.

'The Big Short' was great albeit a bit weird with its segues.

Also 'The fundamentals of caring' was a pretty cool comedy about a kid in a wheelchair, i liked it.
