My wife went into respite care yesterday for 2 weeks. I could do anything I wanted last night but it has been so long since I did anything that I didn’t know what to do with myself. Sat and watched the City documentary on iPad whilst simultaneously watching Lancashire on tv ,eating a mars bar and drinking Johnnie Walker Black Label. |

Give it a couple days Bert, you'll adjust to having the break from what you usually do and get the benefit of it. I imagine there's a lot of stuff you don't normally get to give time to, even just deflating on the sofa with whiskey and telly. MS is indeed fucking horrid. Hope the respite placement goes well for all of you. |
