Errrrrrm, I'm saying nothing - it's 18 yrs inside if you say the wrong thing. Which in itself should tell you something.

I live on the southeast coast, Rayong province.

I work, building offshore modules and decks for the oil & gas industry, at a yard about 10kls north of Pattaya.

Looks effing lovely. You speak reasonable Thai?

You been to Cambodia and/or Vietnam? Would you recommend them to visit?

I've been here 25 yrs so my Thai is fluent.

I spent a good bit of time in Cambodia (Kampuchea, to give it it's correct name) during the 90's - back then Phnom Penh was gorgeous. They'd only just ended practically 40 yrs of war which meant, as a consequence, there had been no development since they got independence from the French. It was like an old colonial town with no buildings higher than 3 stories, it was like stepping back in time.
It's changed a bit now, in fact I've got two brothers over there now installing glazing on some high-rise development.

I would definitely recommend it for a visit, fascinating country with a fascinating history and you've got the massive 1,000 yr old temples at Angkor up in Siem Reap.

Never been to Vietnam.

Not much of a celebrity, but Steve Dillon, artist on preacher amongst other things. Ruptured appendix at age of 54.
