It would be cool if this band were killed in a Lynyrd Skynryd style plane crash and achieved rock n' roll immortality but they don't get to fly anywhere. Shame.

It was. All that beat it and stuff had a disco beat to it. it must have been cod disco, disco performed by a white guy:D.

I know plenty about Michael Jackson, but the over-riding factor in all of this is since i first heard him, i've found it to be incredibly boring. Now, i'm sorry if that isn't the general consensus, but it's my opinion, end of. Besides, i don't have time to be talking about boring shite like Michael fucking Jackson, when there is far too much good stuff out there that never gets mentioned.

Have you actually heard the song? "Beat it" has a disco beat? Jesus, I thought you knew a bit about music, though were highly opinionated. Now I see, you really don't do you? Fucking clueless.

Maybe it's that other one i'm thinking of, Billie Jean then. It's all the same = tripe.

I don't think it's worth the effort arguing.

here's one i read this week in an interview with an A & R man:

Along the lines of...."In my time as an A & R man, I got to see many, many wonderful bands that nobody had heard of, and got to work with many rubbish bands that everyone has heard of..." That about sums up the music industry for me.

Michael Jackson = legend.

Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad and Dangerous (and bits of History) are all class.

I don't mind admitting it. I'm obviously not as cool as Bassy but I know good music when I hear it.

Things like that just make no sense to me whatsoever.

Because you are incredibly closed minded.

I bet you you won't have heard half of the stuff i listen to. Not closed minded at all. I just don't listen to the first thing on the radio, or whatever everyone else is listening to.

It makes no sense? What? My post? I thought it was quite clear.

Or do you mean Jacko? You don't think Billie Jean is a good song? Thriller? Beat It? Nothing short of brilliant... even if you don't choose to listen to them, surely you know they're good songs and he deserved the success he got from them?

I probably haven't, but you are still closed minded. If it isn't indie or reggae it's absolute shit eh? Or if anyone else has heard it. There are more genres out there you know, and just because you don't understand it doesn't make it shit.

I'm not carrying on with this anyway. I know what you are, so that's fine.
