$135 a barrel, doubled in 12 months. Fucking joke!.. £1.10.9 a litre at my local supermarket now, glad i got rid of my sporty car and got something more sensible.

Its a joke. Can't remember how much per litre I just paid but it was a lot. Spent £60 and didn't come close to filling my tank :mad:

I dunno. Makes you sick really when the likes of BP & Shell turn round and say their profits are over £5 billion a year. They can easily afford to have lower prices but they don't. I think I might go and buy some of their shares so I can afford to pay for my petrol out of my shareholder dividends!

Concurrance. I've bought a Mondeo diesel. Does sixty odd mpg if I'm not ragging it. Sooooo fucking pleased.

I've started leaving for work ten minutes earlier than normal, then I get in behind a 40-footer on the motorway and sit there doing 56mph. Saves money, but driving sensibly makes me feel old. Next thing, I'll be wearing a cardie and a flat cap.
