Same as every year, going to a friends to see 2014 in. Never a big night, just always very nice.

Having all of our friends with kids around ours tonight (including one blue scouser - a rare find in North Carolina) for booze and Nova Scotia lobster (our xmas gift from my parents every year).

Going to a house party then on to a club, usual NYE routine.

Got a freebie into the Albert Halls on Deansgate for their "Hacienda recreation". I strongly suspect it will be wank but, you know, it's free.

Right now I'm in and out of the loft. There's quite a bit of condensation up there on the underside of the roof. Not sure what to do about that, if anything.

I went to Coogee beach all day then went back to a mates house party where lots and lots of beer pong was played and talk of anal was had. Now I'm off to Cheers Bar to have a few and watch the City game

I had to be forced to bed at about 3am, most unlike me I'm normally crashed out on the settee by 9pm

Today was the one day I asked for off over the whole Christmas period. I'm glad, although my phone did ring from work at lunchtime. I obviously didn't answer.
