First half of this very long film was great 9/10... second half was meh. I was expecting this to be amazing, but it was just super over-hyped from Nolan fans. Not one of his best films.

i thoroughly enjoyed fury, utterly brutal film of a day (and it is a single day!) in a tank at the end of the war. the only bit i really quibbled - in terms of accuracy - was the battle at the end, but the stuff about deserters being hung from lamposts, the tiger encounter, all the rest was spot on. thought they did a decent job of not demonising the germans nor making the americans out to be flawless heroes. the meal chat about the horses referenced the falaise pocket, and was suitably chilling, an illustration of the the dehumanising of participants in war.

Saw "American Sniper" last night. Excellent.

Shia LeBouf actually cut his own face open for this film and refused to shower for the entirety of the filming

I'm sure his co stars definitely felt the same way.

He was ostracised by them, apparently. They must not have shared his dedication

he had a tooth pulled as well. he's taken "method", ignored it and just gone for "insane" with a hint of "i'm a serious actor, not just transformers boy". the not washing bit... it's a single day shia, you stinky fuck.

Shia LeBouf is a puff...didn't river phoenix and keanu reeves take heroin in 'my own private idaho' for realism..

Anyone seen under the skin? Watched it tonight, it was an interesting experience to say the least

Owning Mahowny with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Probably the best gambling film I've seen.
