I was worried I'd spoiled it for myself, on another forum I post on in totally unrelated topics people with have huge game of thrones spoilers in big red text but I think they're mostly fake and just to piss people off, but yeah the thing that I thought was going to happen didn't but maybe it will later. They tend to postpone popular shows (that are normally aired on the weekend) in the US if it's a holiday weekend, as people tend to go away. It was Memorial Day yesterday (Monday).

i watch these late at night when it's not my turn to get up with mini-me, but i had to have another drink, a smoke and watch something else before bed after that.

missus' office that is. she may have appeared very briefly but had made a very early resolution to be boring as fuck and therefore not featured. anne was very badly advised to do that documentary, they never end well. bloke that pushed it was a campaign runner, and one of the best at that kind of thing, but not an "in office" type. of course he is no longer there.

she is odd, yes, but it was unkind editing to some degree. they did get to review it before it aired, but everyone's been working with her for a year or more so they're kind of used to her idiosyncracies. like the paint tin thing, or the onion, or painting her nails, or shouty-ness.

however, she was at least part of the police authority which was hte precursor to this office, rather than some of the walts that tried to go for it, and indeed one who has set him self up as the "shadow PCC"
