I'm sure this craze is sweeping the UK as it is over here -
Here's a vid of a mate of mine who was diagnosed with MND just over a year ago

To Joe
(his only fault is that he's an Arsenal fan!)

Got nominated by a guy I used to employ 2 years ago who quit his job because he got more on benefits and hasn't worked since. Suffice it to say I told him to fuck off.

Best thing about it has been being able to put a voice to forumers I have on Facebook.

What I don't get is: who is this Lou Gehrig cunt and why's he spreading disease around? If he knows he's got it then he should at least be rubbering up

It's so gay, who can't handle having a bucket of water with a few ice cubes in tipped over them in the summer? Do it in the winter maybe. Or don't, it's not worth getting clothes wet.

Exactly, it is winter here (well actually spring as of today) and 22 degrees yesterday, as if I am risking my own health to take this challenge.

Nods is right, this Lou fella is who we should be trying to find. He sounds well guilty?!

there are numerous "fail" vids, watching people get smacked in the head by large containers filled with water doesn't really get old. nor does watching someone get smacked in the face by pans, ceramic pots, the floor when they buckle...

I did it (28 Degrees) and donated. All good and safe.

However, see some dumb Americans do it!

And an even dumber European!

A Belgium man was seriously injured after having nearly 400 gallons of water dumped on him by a fire-fighting plane – as part of a catastrophically unsuccessful ice bucket challenge.

Photographer Bruno Brokken, 51, was flown to hospital in a “critical condition” after the aeroplane opened the hatch dropping 396 gallons of water from a height of 22 feet at an aerodrome near Girona in north east Spain.

“They had arranged to do it as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge craze in order to raise money for ALS,” Rolf Kuratle, head of Skydive Empuriabrava, told Spanish newspaper paper The Local.

“The pilot flew a fire-fighting plane, the kind used to put out forest fires, and dumped the load onto his friend. They obviously miscalculated how much water it was.”

Mr Brokken, who is also a full-time skydiver with over 15,000 jumps to his name, was recovering in Girona’s Josep Truenta Hospital having luckily not sustained any internal injuries.
